Where do I put my desk??? Dilemma.....

My desk has been moved around a lot lately due to the renovations of the kitchen. Now that the kitchen is completed I can concentrate where my desk should go. I do want it to be part of my every day life with the kids and put it in the great room. I have an empty wall space in my family room where the kids toy chest boxes are located. We are thinking of doing the basement over and so most of their toy collections could go in the new basement. My desk is small so it wouldn't take up so much room. I just need a little spot for some of my things and to work on my blog more. This is what I'm working on this morning. Wish me luck. I'll post pictures soon.

Back from Vacation! Love the West Coast!

My family and I spent our Spring Break at Coronado Island. The home of the famous Hotel Del. It's been there for 120 years. As you walk into the main foyer you are sent back in time with so much history and fond memories. It's one of our favorite places to visit!! With so much history from famous movie stars, presidents, and the mysterious lady who supposedly walks the grounds of the Del. It's a magical and beautiful place. I saw so many French country stores. It was too much to take in all at once. The Del has a beautiful French country store called The Babcock & Emporium! I could just buy everything in there. Last year we bought a beautiful painting of sunflowers which is sitting on our kitchen counter top. It makes you smile every time you see it! This year a small watercolor painting of the Del which will be framed and hung in our bathroom. It will be the perfect spot near the body lotions and soaps from their signature shop where they create the most beautiful scent.

It's Monday and that means only 5 days left till Spring Break!

One of the most beautiful places to go on vacation. In five days we will be arriving at Hotel Del Coronado in sunny California. It's a wonderful place to visit with your family. Can't wait to have some fun and relaxation with my family.
